The Great RV Toilet Paper Debate
The RV Toilet Paper Debate
I want to talk about one of the most contentious debates in the RV world: toilet paper.
RV toilet paper. Regular toilet paper. Septic-safe toilet paper. One-ply. Two-ply.
You want to start an argument? Ask an RV group what toilet paper you should use.
Do you have to use RV-specific toilet paper? I don’t know. Some people say absolutely. Some people say it’s a complete waste of money.”
Here’s where I land: it’s like a dollar more than regular at Walmart.
And I’m just not willing to find out whether it really matters.
Because a dollar is a whole lot cheaper than a poo pyramid and a ruined camping trip. We do enough embarrassing shit (oh, poor choice of words), we don’t need to add an emergency black tank repair by a mobile poo engineer.
So we use RV-specific toilet paper. That’s what works for us. I’m not saying you have to. I’m saying I’m not conducting that experiment in my black tank.
